DR. IRINA KOULIKOVA

Pianist Irina Koulikova has performed throughout Russia, Europe and the USA, giving recitals at the most prestigious venues and concert halls, including the halls of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Russia, Weil Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Millenium Stage at the Kennedy Center, the Music Center in Strathmore, Russian Embassy and Russian Cultural Center in Washington DC, Hodgson Concert Hall at the University of Georgia, Athens and the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in Palm Beach, Florida.
 
She taught piano at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory from 1977 to 2014 and served as the Head of the International Department of the Conservatory from 1996 to 2008. 
 
Dr. Koulikova has taught and performed at various summer music schools and festivals in Europe, including the Earino Festival (Edessa, Greece), the International Summer Piano Schools (Novi Sad and Subotica, Serbia, Ohrid Macedonia, Beijing, and China), Piano Forum in Rowan University (New Jersey, USA) and the American Fine Arts Festival (NY, USA). She also judged the 2nd International Competition “Dunabe” in Novi Sad, Serbia.
 
Dr. Koulikova participated in the international conferences in Taiwan, China, Russia and Germany.
 
Dr. Koulikova has received her DMA and Masters in Music from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Russia. Her Doctoral Dissertation was on Piano works by Igor Stravinsky.
 
Dr. Koulikova received a Fulbright Scholarship from the Catholic University of America from 2000 to 2001. She has released 3 classical CDs. The most recent, “Two Centuries of Russian Romances” was released in March 2010 by the Russian Music Society label in USA.
 
Dr. Koulikova is faculty at the International School of Music in Bethesda, MD and has a Piano Studio in Arlington, VA.
 
Dr. Koulikova is a member of MTNA, NVMTA, WMTA, MSMTA and the National Guild of Piano Teachers of America.
